Cape Verde, Africa is an archipelago formed by 9 islands located in the Atlantic Ocean, in front of the African continent, south of the Canary Islands and in front of the coasts of Senegal.

This archipelago has 9 inhabited islands. Some are part of Barlovento with Santo Antao, San Vicente, Santa Luzia, Branco Island, Raso Island, San Nicolas, Sal and Boavista, on the other side you´ll find Sotavento Island with Maio, Santiago, Fogo, Brava and Seca Island.

The capital of this country is Praia and is found in the island of Santiago.
